Communication and theatre students encouraged to submit research

Announcing: 41st annual DePauw University Undergraduate Honors Conference 

What: an opportunity for undergraduate students to attend and deliver research at an undergraduate honors conference

When: April 16 - 18, 2015

Where: Greencastle, Indiana (west of Indianapolis) 

The conference is a unique experience for undergraduates working on research projects this year. Top undergraduate students will acquire an excellent learning experience.

Papers from all areas of communication and theatre are accepted: rhetoric, interpersonal communication, organizational communication, media studies, film studies, theatre history and criticism, etc.

During the conference students work in small groups with one visiting faculty mentor. The mentors for 2015 include: Aaron Anderson of Virginia Commonwealth University, Catherine Palczewski of the University of Northern Iowa, and Travis Vogan from the University of Iowa. The keynote speaker will be Jill Dolan of Princeton University. 

This year the conference is made possible in part through a National Communication Association grant, Funds to Advance the Discipline.

To allow for a blind review, no identification should appear in the body of the paper. Students should also include a local address, phone number, personal e-mail address, and faculty sponsor name and e-mail address on a cover letter.

The deadline for submission is January 12, 2015.  Papers should be submitted electronically to:
